Thanks to the generosity of 43 donors, this year’s Give Local York campaign raised $9,365 to support SpiriTrust Lutheran® benevolent care, a 62% increase over last year’s total. The 24-hour online fundraising spree that marks York County’s biggest day of giving was held on May 4 and 5.
In total, Give Local York raised $4,640,924 from 12,752 donors to 330 York County non-profit organizations. Gifts designated for SpiriTrust Lutheran support our benevolent care resources, which enable us to help individuals who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their financial resources and cannot afford the services they need. Gifts provide much needed services for residents in our life plan communities.
