Support SpiriTrust Lutheran® while receiving tax benefits

Are you 70½ or older and own an Individual Retirement Account (IRA)?   Would you like to support SpiriTrust Lutheran®? If so, you may want to consider making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA to SpiriTrust Lutheran.

When you make a QCD gift, doing so counts toward satisfying all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year, not to mention reducing your taxable income, and making a difference in the lives of others.

How it works:

  • You must be at least 70½ years old
  • Your gift from your IRA must transfer directly from your IRA provider to SpiriTrust Lutheran
  • For calendar year 2024, you may donate up to $105,000 from your IRA

You can support the SpiriTrust Lutheran community, while receiving 2024 tax benefits!
